Job scoring and groups
about 1–3 hours- Linden system
- Client
The Linden system suggests job scores, groups and pay ranges, and checks the pay gap between men and women. You assess the suggestions: accept them or comment.
When the gap in a group is 5% or more, Linden tells you and helps you make a correction plan.
-
Lawyer review
within 5 working days- Linden lawyer
A Linden lawyer checks the whole pay system against Labour Code art. 140. We fix your comments in one round.

-
Consultation and approval
10 working days or more- Linden system
- Client
Consulting staff is mandatory (Labour Code art. 140(3)). The Linden system does it: it sends the draft to staff or their representatives, collects comments and prepares the record. You sign the approval order and get the pay system as a Word document.
A works council is informed 10 working days before the planned approval (Labour Code art. 206(2)).
-
Staff acknowledgement
about 1–2 weeks- Linden system
Acknowledgement runs through the Linden system. Each employee gets a personal link by e-mail or SMS and taps “I have read it”. Staff without e-mail sign a paper sheet.
You can show the log to a court or the State Labour Inspectorate.
Done by Linden. Nothing for you to do.

You can run the self-check and start in the tool for free: enter your data and see the suggested job grades. You pay when you want the lawyer's review and the final document. Prices exclude VAT. Payment is in advance. The pay system price depends on your average number of employees.

You score your jobs
List every job in the company. Score each one against the criteria in the Labour Code: skills, qualifications, effort, responsibility and working conditions (Labour Code art. 140(3)).
From the job description, the Linden system suggests a score and briefly says why. You assess it: accept or change it.
What to prepare
- a list of jobs;
- a short description of each job: what the person does and what they are responsible for.
You upload staff and check the gaps
Upload your staff list with salaries. The tool puts each employee in a group and shows where men and women in the same group are paid differently.
For each gap you write down the reason: experience, extra responsibility or another objective criterion. The State Labour Inspectorate stresses that 5% is not an allowed gap: any unjustified gap is a breach.
| Group | Staff | Gap between men and women | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| II | 6 | 1 % | Written |
| III | 4 | 8 % | Needs a reason |
| IV | 3 | 0 % | No gap |
Questions about the tool
Can I use the pay system I already have?
Yes. If you already have one, you must review it and change it where needed by 31 December 2026 (Law No. XV-969, art. 23(4)). A lawyer checks whether it meets the new rules.
Must the pay system cover bonuses and allowances?
Yes. It sets the grounds, amounts and procedure for allowances, supplements and bonuses (Labour Code art. 140(3)).
Does the tool work in English?
Yes. The tool works in Lithuanian and English.
Who sees my staff's salaries?
Your company and the Linden lawyer who checks the pay system. Data is kept on the tool's servers in Frankfurt (Germany, EU) and is never combined with other clients' data. The privacy policy lists every service provider.
